Can I host adult sites with vURL?

Yes, we allow hosting legal adult content on all of the plans we offer. Adult hosting must comply with our terms and conditions.

What is your SPAM policy?

vURL does not tolerate SPAM. Any webmaster who is spamming would have his/her site terminated immediately without warning. If you are using advertisers for your site, please make sure that your advertisers do not SPAM any of your sites hosted with vURL.

What features do you offer with your hosting accounts?

What is your network connectivity?

vURL's primary hosting facility is located in Dallas, TX, USA. Our current network consists of ATT (OC3), UUNet (OC3), InterNap (2x100Mbps), Qwest (1Gbps), and Cogent Communications (5x100Mbps).

I need a lot of traffic, do you have cheaper solutions?

Yes, we do. For high traffic sites (50 GB per month or more) we can offer you a custom solutions. Please contact us for details.

Will I have telnet access and be able to run irc bots/daemons?

No, ssh is not offered nor bot/ircd execution is supported. Sorry, offering such services is a too high risk for all of our existing clients. We are focused on high quality hosting service, not on chatting.

What support do you offer?

We have 24/7 support available. We offer email and ICQ support. All support inquires are with guaranteed response within 12 hours, but usually our staff replies within a few minutes.

Do you offer SSL encryption?

Yes, we have SSL encryption available as an option for all hosting packages that we offer. SSL encryption allows you to accept special information such as credit card number securely. You can request SSL encryption during your account registration or have it enabled later. If you account has SSL encryption enabled, you will receive a subdirectory under secure.vurl.net (usually: https://secure.vurl.net/yoursite.com/) where you can place all content that needs to be encrypted.
